This Year's Session
Camp Conifer is currently closed for registration, and will reopen in Spring 2026. Please follow our social media or join our mailing list below to stay updated on our next session!
We hope your children will join us for a week of adventure, friendship, and fun! Programming will include both traditional camp activities such as campfires, hiking, and arts & crafts, and heritage-based programming such as kimchi making, folk dancing workshops, taekwondo demonstrations, and more.

Camp Location
Nestled in the beautiful San Bernardino National Forest, Camp Arbolado is located just 90 minutes from Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego counties.
Please note that our camp is not associated with the physical "Conifer Camp" campsite. We are a summer camp that uses Camp Arbolado's campsite for our one-week program. For more information on the campsite, see here.

Space in cabins is limited, and your camper's belongings will get dirty during arts & crafts and outdoor activities. We also recommend labeling water bottles, flashlights, and other items to prevent them from getting lost.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the eligible age to attend Camp Conifer?
The session is open to any camper who will be 8 years old (by the start date of this summer's session) up to incoming 9th graders.
If your child is an incoming 10th or 11th grader, they can fill out the supplemental application to be a counselor-in-training (CIT) after the main application and camp fee have both been submitted. Please note that space in both the camp and CIT programs is subject to availability.
What does a typical day at camp look like?
The itinerary for each summer includes traditional camp activities—hiking, canoeing, rock wall climbing, arts & crafts and campfires—blended with culture and heritage-based programming. Past Korean-focused activities include kimchi and mandu making, Pojangmacha Night, professionally-led traditional Korean drum and folk dancing workshops, Korean calligraphy and stamp making, and more. Campers will also have free time to play games and bond with their friends.
How can I contact my child at camp?
Camp Conifer aims to create a community space for our campers to fully immerse themselves in the experience and build new friendships. We kindly ask you not to call, send mail, or visit before pick-up unless necessary.
If there is an emergency, please contact camp staff so we can help you get in contact with your camper.
How are Camp Conifer staff selected?
Camp Conifer is entirely volunteer-run! We are proud to have so many staff who love camp enough to dedicate their time each summer to providing campers with the same unforgettable experiences they had growing up.
After their CIT program, prospective staff may be invited to complete a written application, interview, and background check before being accepted by camp leadership as a Junior Counselor.
