About the Program

Counselor-in-Training program
Camp Conifer's counselor-in-training (CIT) program is a two-year experience designed to foster leadership skills and develop the next generation of staff. In addition to participating in camp programming and connecting with their cohorts, CITs gain practical skills working with youth, supporting camp activities, and building teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills under the mentorship of CIT Directors and camp staff.
Campers who are rising 10th or 11th graders are welcome to apply under the registration page. Applicants who have not previously been to Camp Conifer but share our mission and demonstrate strong leadership skills may still be considered.
